Role Description:
Scrum master is responsible for serving as a key enabler of high-performing Agile teams. Will work closely with Product Owners, Developers, and cross-functional teams to drive Agile adoption, facilitate delivery, and remove impediments that slow progress. will help deliver customer-centric, innovative solutions at scale. will champion a culture of collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement across squads while maintaining alignment with strategic business and technology objectives.

Experience and qualification:
•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
•Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Practitioner in tech organisations.
•Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban) and Agile-at-scale environments.
•Experience working in technical product teams with knowledge of SDLC, CI/CD practices, and DevOps collaboration.
•Proficiency with Agile tools like Jira, Azure DevOps (ADO), Miro, or similar.
•Excellent facilitation, conflict-resolution, and stakeholder management skills.
•Strong analytical thinking, communication, and emotional intelligence.
Specific knowledge:
•Professional certifications such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), PSM I/II, or equivalent.
•Experience with hybrid project management (Agile + Waterfall/PRINCE2) is a plus.
•Understanding of user-centred design principles and product development lifecycle
•Understanding of Agile metrics, agile contracting, and cross-team collaboration in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)

Responsibilities:
•Facilitate Agile ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives) and ensure adherence to Agile principles (Scrum, SAFe, or hybrid Agile models).
•Guide the team and organisation in Agile best practices, embedding Agile ways of working across the product development lifecycle.
•Drive Agile maturity and team performance through ongoing coaching, mentoring, and identifying areas of improvement.
•Shield the team from distractions and external disruptions, ensuring focus and commitment to sprint goals.
•Track, analyse, and report on key Agile metrics such as velocity, burn-down/up charts, and team health indicators to inform decisions and optimise performance.
•Collaborate with Product Owners to ensure a refined and well-prioritised backlog that aligns with business goals and customer needs.
•Coordinate with the technical development team, DevOps, QA, product, design, and other technical stakeholders to maintain efficient delivery pipelines.
•Actively manage dependencies, risks, and blockers, and escalate when necessary while maintaining strong alignment across teams and departments.
